The pharmaceutical industry has been blamed for many things. It just makes too much money on drugs to leave things alone. Wyeth is being accused of hiring "ghostwriters" to create documents in justification of hormone therapy for women that afterwards proved to have severe side effects. In all apparently 26 papers were written between 1998 and 2005 on this issue. The medications involved were Premarin and Pempro. The investigation was begun by the Public Library of Science and The New York Times. Wyeth stated that the scientific papers were "routine". Read the article!
