What inspired you to launch your own website?
Took over from US owner to make jobs available to MTs, Proofers, Freshers, Interns around the world
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
MTStars.com has been open since 2000.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
MTs are hard workers and so I came up with name MTStars because they are Stars to deal with the work that they do.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
MTStars.com is huge site and has lot of job listings and resume bank.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To make available to MTs, Proofers, Freshers, Interns and make income from Google ads.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I just took the site but it was already well established. I am having MBA.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Market it out worldwide.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Site is big now and I keep up demand.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Only hosting expense.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting word out that site is now open worldwide.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Google and other search engines
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Just took it over, so the future will answer this question.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
On and off since 2000. Will keep indefinately.
