for stem cell studies, Harvard recruiting egg donors
12/13/09 15:09
A big leap forward stem cell research in the U.S. take, just on Tuesday, when it was that the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, or HSCI, had announced that it would begin recruiting women for the purpose of donating eggs to the institution.
Scientists will then use these donated eggs in the process of generating human embryonic stem cells.
It had been the very first reported program which had been launched by an academic institute in order for one to use fresh eggs in somatic cell nuclear transfer, creating stem cells.
