    Name of your website?

    Medicare, made clear!

    Your name?

    Edward M. Atwell

    Your Location (city, etc)

    Mansfield

Please give us a short summary of your website?

When people reach the age of 65 they become overwhelmed with "Junk-Mail" and phone calls from Insurance Companies about Medicare and Supplemental Insurance. I designed this website to put all of the information in one spot. Simple and Useful information!

What inspired you to launch your own website?

More and more people are searching for information according to their terms on the internet. I have a growing agency and I want to continue helping people in my community however they need me to!

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is my first website, I've done every piece of work on this website.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Well its geared towards people on Medicare, in Ohio, that need Help! Medicareohiohelp.com seemed to make since.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

My website is not all about buying Insurance, it's more about how the federal Medicare program works. Made Clear!

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I built this website on my own. I put alot of time, effort and hard work into it. I don't care what happens it was designed to help people and I'll keep it going. It helps people!

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Well I haven't invested a whole lot of money, I have invested alot of time and I'm starting to build trust in my community so the success is slowly coming my way.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would change it by offering free books! Useful books that would help people better understand topics which they don't understand.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, I have a solid group that I work with and we help each other out all the time.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Well, I've purchased "leads" in the past. These are names of people with their information on them that insurance agents buy to make sales. They are deceiving to the person filling them out and mailing them in. I'll never waste my money on them again!

What has been your biggest challenge?

Building a name for myself in my community. I'm a fairly new Insurance Broker and people must know and trust you in order to buy Insurance from you.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of mouth. I've talked about my website to as many people as possible. I've received most business this way.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It's a slow and tough process. You don't just show up on the search engines and it is tough!

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

My website has been running for about four months now. I designed it to help people. I will keep it running as long as it helps people!

How long have you been an Insurance Broker? How long will I continue being an Insurance Broker here in Mansfield?

I've been an Independent Insurance Broker for three years now and I've made a commitment to this business. I'm born and raised in Mansfield and I'm not going anywhere!

    What is your website address?

    Medicare, made clear!
