The radiation risks of getting screened for lung cancer and the benefits of finding out that you have cancer early are two incomparable things. Preventative care is always the best so that basically means a healthy diet, working out regularly and going for regular screenings. Not smoking as well is a given but I agree with the article that if you are or were a heavy smoker then regular screenings are a must. the earlier you find something, if there is anything, the more doctors can do to eliminate the threat
