The rate of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aurea infections (MRSA bacteria) has dramatically rose within 2001 to 2008 especially with kids.According to Dr. Iman Naseri of Emory Universiy, there was a 16 percent leap of cases of pediatric ear, nose and throat infections caused by MRSA where he attributed the increasing spread of the bacteria in places were people closely congregate. MRSA causes no severe infections but it makes treatment more difficult cause of fewer options specially with kids who have delicate bodies which couldn't take stronger medicines yet.
