Due to his father death, an author as well as a business executive started to explore the health care industry that according to him had killed hi father. According to him, the current system is not worth preserving.
His story that can be read at theatlantic.com (link below) questioned the health care system that he claims that had killed his father.
His father was then 83 years old and was taken at a well-regarded nonprofit hospital in New York City. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and within 36 hours had developed sepsis. And eventually became one of those Americans who died due to hospital-borne infection.
