Last Sept. 17, the construction of Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine has comenced and projected to start classes in August 2010.
While the structure is being laid, an intricate process of designing a curriculum, admission policies and hiring the professors are completed for the new school to be granted permission to open.
The new medical school plan to create new trends in medical education systems not ever done in other medical schools.
