Some consumers easily believe in deceptive advertisements, which is why watchdog agencies were established to correct these deceptive marketing practices.
Another one added to the list is General Mills' Cheerios cereal, the United States' best-selling cereal. Just recently, the US Food and Drug Administration sent a warning to General Mills, telling the company to change the way it promotes the cereal's supposed cholesterol-lowering benefits.
