There have been a joint panel made to discuss and make a decision over acetaminophen, a well used pain killer. The joint panel consists of Drug Safety and Risk Management Advisory Committee, Anesthetic and Life Support Drugs Advisory Committee and Nonprescription Drugs Advisory Committee. According to some studies, liver damage in the country have been associated by acetaminophen. The panel voted 24 to 13 against the proposal on whether to remove over-the-counter combination drugs from the shelves. Read more on the link below.
